Good Morning Cookies: Cookies made with oats, almonds, and bananas are a healthy alternative to conventional cakes, rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals, but with a fairly balanced calorie content. They are perfect for a healthy, filling breakfast or as an energy-rich snack during the day. With few ingredients, simple preparation, and no refined sugar, they are a good choice for anyone looking for a sweet treat that supports daily well-being and nutrition.
Ingredients:
- 7 oz (200 g) rolled oats
- 3 oz (80 g) chopped almonds
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 oz (30 g) sesame seeds
- 1 oz (30 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 0.2 oz (5 g) vanilla sugar
- 5 fl oz (150 ml) water
- Powdered sugar (for decorating)
How to prepare Good Morning Cookies:
- Preparing the oats: First, put the oats in a blender and blend finely until they become a kind of flour. Pour into a large bowl.
- Add the other dry ingredients: Add bitter cocoa, vanilla sugar, and sesame seeds to the oats. Mix well to combine the ingredients.
- Incorporate the almonds: Add the chopped almonds and mix again to obtain a smooth mixture.
- Prepare the banana: Peel the banana and mash it well with a fork until pureed. Add to the oat mixture and mix well.
- Add water: Gradually add the water, stirring with a spatula until the mixture is soft and thick. The mixture should be neither too liquid nor too firm.
- Shape cookies: Take a spoonful of the mixture and shape into balls with your hands. Place these on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and press lightly on the top of each cookie to flatten it.
- Bake: Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 40 minutes, until golden and crispy on the surface.
- Decorate: After baking, let the cookies cool for a few minutes. If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar to give the cookies a sweet touch.
Enjoy!
