Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 75 g (⅓ cup) sugar
  • 100 ml (⅓ cup + 1 tablespoon) milk
  • 50 ml (3½ tablespoons) vegetable oil (e.g., sunflower oil or a neutral oil)
  • 200 g (1⅔ cups) flour (all-purpose)
  • 8 g (1¾ teaspoons) baking powder
  • 2 apples (organic, peeled and diced)
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Powdered sugar (for decorating)

How to make Air fryer apple Cake:

  1. Beat the eggs with the sugar until smooth and frothy.
  2. Stir in the milk and vegetable oil.
  3. Add the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of cinnamon.
  4. Peel one apple, remove the core, dice it, and add to the mixture.
  5. Grease and flour a cake pan suitable for an air fryer and pour in the prepared mixture.
  6. Wash and dry the other apple, remove the core, and slice it thinly.
  7. Arrange the slices in a radial pattern on the surface of the cake, gently pressing them into the mixture.
  8. Bake the apple cake in the air fryer at 160°C (320°F) for the first fifteen minutes, then increase the temperature to 180°C (356°F) and bake for another ten minutes.
  9. At the end of the baking time, remove the cake from the air fryer and let it cool completely in the pan before turning it out onto a serving plate and decorating with powdered sugar as desired.
